About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. As an ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP applications and solutions. Your expertise in ABAP programming and SAP modules will play a critical role in optimizing our business processes and ensuring the smooth functioning of our SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development: Develop, customize, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) and other relevant technologies.
- SAP Module Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ABAP solutions with various SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) to support business processes.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and ensure that developed solutions meet coding standards, are efficient, and maintain high code quality.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues in existing SAP applications by optimizing code and database queries.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all development activities, including specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
- Testing: Create and execute test cases to validate the functionality of ABAP developments and ensure proper integration with SAP systems.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors in SAP applications, providing timely support to end-users.
- Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
- Security: Implement security best practices to safeguard SAP systems and data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users as needed, ensuring they can effectively use the SAP applications and systems.
